I love cutting boards so much so that I collect them!  My favorite is butcher block and bamboo!  Lucky for me I was asked to test this lovely set of bamboo.  The best part of this aside from how beautfiul it is wrapped.

My kids were so excited when this arrived because there were three of them and they each got to test out a board!  I find bamboo to be great because the food doesn't go flying off and it doesn't have that awful ear piercing sound as when you cut on a glass board.  Since I sharpen my knives regularly I can't speak to them getting dull becuase I haven't noticed.

I have been putting them to the test (all sizes) with cutting/chopping produce. breads and frozen meat.  I have had a great experience with these boards and have found that the knife glides beautifully.  No chipping, no rough spots, just smooth and TOUGH. I cut onions on one and thought "there will be a smell on this board (like I've experienced with others) - NOPE! Not this one. Washed the board by hand afterwards and NO SMELL!
